Embark on your journey to becoming a skilled truck driver by following these straightforward admission steps:

  1. You need to hold a Class D driver license and be at least 18.
  2. Choose which class of CDL you want to obtain.
  3. Complete your application on our website.
  4. Interview with the recruiting staff.
  5. Obtain your DOT Physical and Commercial Lerner’s Permit under the guidance of our qualified staff.
  6. Finalize your schedule with your recruiter and travel to one of our school locations to begin your CDL training.

A Department of Transportation (DOTphysical is a physical exam that is required of people who drive commercial vehicles. Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination must be conducted by a licensed “medical examiner” listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry. A DOT physical exam is valid for up to 24 months. If the medical examiner finds the person physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV), the medical examiner will furnish a complete a Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

commercial learner’s permit (CLP) is a permit that only authorizes you to practice on public roads with a qualified CDL holder sitting next to you. There are 3 classes of CDLs with endorsements for specialized qualifications for vehicles like school buses, tank trucks, tractor trailers, etc. Each types of CDL and endorsement requires you pass a skills test and in some cases a written test. It is important to make sure you pass all the required tests or risk having restrictions on your license.
